Tribute to Aaron Kohring

Vic Kohring was inspired to establish New Life Ministries after the sudden passing of his dear nephew Aaron Kohring in July 2015 as the result of a tragic accident. Aaron is now with his Lord in Heaven experiencing incredible joy and happiness, so despite the Kohring family's sadness at his loss, they are also rejoicing. To honor Aaron, Vic has committed to a mission of telling the world of God's love and salvation. Aaron was like a son to him whom he loves and misses so much and looks forward to seeing again someday.

Vic's sister Heyde and Aaron's aunt recently shared her thoughts regarding their nephew in an email: "Aaron's life, and our lives, have to continue to have purpose or we will get stuck in our sadness. Sometimes when things are falling apart, they are actually falling into place" (a quote from Trylife). She added that Aaron "lived a great life where his positive influence on others ran deep." Heyde's words are profound.

Aaron wants us to move forward and to never forget how his positive influence made our lives so much better and so much richer. Vic intends to put his sadness behind him as Aaron would want and will always praise God for the wonderful times they spent together as nephew/uncle. They were very special and are memories he will forever cherish. To further Aaron's legacy, New Life Ministries was formally established on Aaron's 27th birthday on July 9, 2015.

23rd Psalm: The Lord is my Shepherd

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down

in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth

my soul: He leadeth me in the path's of righteousness for His name's

sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I

will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they

comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine

enemies: thou annoinest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I

will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Words that are helping the Kohring family stay strong come from I Peter, 5:10 that say, "Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, God will make everything right. He will make you strong. He will support you and keep you from falling. He is the God who gives all grace. He chose you to share in his glory in Christ. That glory will continue forever."
